I am 49 years old.

I saw and remember Bradshaw.
I saw and remember Staubach.
I saw and revered Montana.
I saw and remember Aikman.
I have seen Tom Brady.

Brady is the GOAT.

Brady's arse got saved from a shitty throw by Edelman. No Edelman catch, no thread like this.

Getting saved is if that happens on 4 down. How is he saved by a play that had it not happened he sitting second and ten with plenty of time? Stop being so salty that Tom is the GOAT. He was going to get it done either way.

I've seen Y.A. Tittle. He was a tough ole coot. So was Unitas. Peyton M. reminds me a lot of Unitas the way he moved around in the backfield.

It's not salty. It's just clear thinking without being swept up in the moment. That ball was a high probability of being an Int without Edelman doing something amazing.

I'm happy the Patriots won, I hate the Falcons, but I'm not swooning. Three weeks ago we had threads all over this board about Rodgers being the greatest. A week later, not so much.

I don't know that the goat can actually be known. Passing is much easier the last 20 years and Belichik wins regardless of QB.

I'd include Dan Marino in your list, but I also admit that Brady's the best I've seen.

compare the above playoff records to Mannings. He shouldn't mention the choker.

Dude came into his own once he arrived at the Patriots. He's 14-6 when Brady is injured, you dumb bastard.

I've been on the goat Brady train for sometime now. People discount 5 rings because it's a team accomplishment. Well, it's a team game and Brady is the best at leading his, especially in high pressure moments. This is to go along with all his other individual accomplishments which by the time he's done could be tops in almost every category. He's going to finish with the most wins and SBs ever. That's what I'd want in a QB if I were a GM.

I agree that he's one of the best ever, but if I'm being objective and not caught up in the moment, I can't just say "he's the goat, no doubt." The game is made for passing these days. Shockingly so. Sack rate is down, Int rate is down by 50% since 1985. Bradford's 2015 season would have made him #2 in 1985.
