3rd straight complete game shut out while giving up a run is some shite.

The batter crossed over in front of the catcher also impeding her throw.
Runner out if called correctly.

So many of those inside pitches were clearly balls. Ump really helped out Texas pitchers

But as soon as the ump interfered the play should be dead by rule

But umpire interference is a dead ball foul and what happens after dosent matter. Review of Batter interference was not needed.( Texas Coach Learn the rules).
Now Texas Tech mad a umpire for interference, but the should be happy, because if umpire doesn’t interfere Batter interference would have been called and game over.

That 3rd strike that led to the weird interference review was way inside. bullshite call.

You’re right, but the Texas coach challenged that call and wanted obstruction on the batter. Pretty good move on his part. The review of the umpire interference was not clear either way. I thought it was close but no contact was apparently to me. I thought the batter interfered with the throw.
Moot point. I’m glad Texas came back because of that God-awful base obstruction on the attempted steal.

How, was it a good move? He wanted to challenge something that wasn’t challengeable, since dead ball foul had already been called.

What!!! It was very obvious her arm
Hit the umpire, he reminded me of Joe Biden trying to sniff little kids.

Texas pitched off, I guess betting that Canady can't be on her game 3 nights in a row, and now Texas' 3rd pitcher is melting down. If Mike White blows another title show, this will be his masterpiece.

Waiting Canady out paid off. Tech getting worked.

NiJaree Canady signs another 7-figure deal with Texas Tech
Then proceeds to go out an give up 5 earned runs in the 1st inning

Texas Tech superstar pitcher NiJaree Canady was the first $1 million softball player. She's also the second.
Canady has signed another seven-figure NIL contract with the Matador Club, the Red Raiders collective, her manager Derrick Shelby of Prestige Management told ESPN.
Canady has led Texas Tech to the national championship series, which will be decided Friday night against Texas on ESPN.

If you put LSU baseball vs Texas Tech or Texas softball with zero practice to hit the softball underhand throw, how many home runs do you think LSU hits on this field? My guess would be 12 to 15.

From softball distance they'd take a while to adjust.
Posted on 6/6/25 at 8:12 pm to Chad504boy
Game was over before it started. You cannot pitch the same player in 3 straight against TU
Posted on 6/6/25 at 8:13 pm to saintsfan22
They would need to adjust, but at some point sheer strength takes over. Most of these are slower than SEC pitching distance adjusted. Like hitting 80-88 mph. I'm also thinking 9 inning but forgot they play 7.
66 mph x (60.5/48) is equal to 83 mph, so not really that fast. Their offspeed stuff is 70 mph adjusted.

If the softball pitcher is throwing around 70 from 43 ft away the adjustment is closer to 98.

I thought you meant like a turn through the lineup. If they're playing 7 or 9 innings every other AB will be a homer by like the 2nd time through the order.
Also if Mahomes showed up for this one, he about to head for the exit.

Maybe Texas Tech should give that pitcher $10 million and they would win. Bunch of retards.

Even if they had won she not "worth" the money because there wouldn't be a monetary return. But if the goal was just to get good they've done more than that for a historically dogshit program.

For real. Pump the brakes on all the fawning over this girl. I hate everything UT, but I’m glad they chased her after 5 in the first.
