You and this thread are pathetic. Pretty sad that you are so filled with hatred towards one franchise that this is a top 5 most enjoyable thing for you in sports each year.
And btw, the Cowboys were one of the best teams in the league last year. Far from a dumpster fire. Would have been one of the best teams in the league this year without some of the most catastrophic injuries to a sports team I've ever witnessed.

The Cryboys are the Aints of old. Icing their own kicker, muffing a punt after getting a stop inside of 2 minutes, bobbling a snap on a short field goal...always finding a creative way to lose games.
Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys.

In DFW, sports media fully expected the Cowboys to win without Romo.
Completely false. Everyone was scared shitless when Romo went down.

They thought that the Cowboys would possibly lose 2 of the games while Romo was out.
Not true again.

The Saints game was the big face slap of reality. Even without Romo, they thought that there was no way they'd lose to New Orleans.
Somewhat true. We always expect to beat one of the historically worst franchises in the league.

they are still in the running for the honor of losing in the first round of the playoffs.
No team wants any part of a healthy Cowboys roster in the first round of the playoffs. The record won't even matter.

Not sure what media you're referring to
The Ticket, primarily. They were counting the Patriots and Seattle games as losses and the remaining games were considered very winnable.
Cowboy fans were excited when they learned that Brady wouldn't be playing against them because of the four game suspension. Ironic.
Cowboy fans were counting down the games until Hardy could play. I can't imagine having to explain to my son why the guy I'm cheering for didn't play the first few games. Pathetic. "Go ask your mom. She's polishing the machine gun couch."
On top of that, Jerry's comments about Tom and Giselle in reference to Hardy's comments...just lose, baby.

For the record half of the Saints fans out there have a Cowboys starter jacket in their closet gathering dust.
Once Brees & Payton are gone and the Saints slip back into being the joke of the league, Saints fans will slowly decrease.
If the Cowboys a relevant at the time-those fans will start cheering the Cowboys again.
*A fan of neither, but (half of)Saints fans pretending that they've been lifers are a lying to themselves.
