Just taking a look back at how things worked out. Sorry if the truth is uncomfortable for you.
what that it came out you were picked b/c of tv markets. Enjoy this season in the sec the fact that mizzou fans want to talk shite on lil ol wvu proves you have an inferiority complex with shite to prove.

not even. Dana is setting a new standard in terms of quality of players and having a class with this many guys this early is un heard of by wvu standards
4 of our recruits this year are from FL, including 2 espn 300 guys
You cant roll out losing seasons like you are and continue to convince kids from FL and the coast to play in a league where you get beaten by teams like kansas.
Thats unsustainable. You may have one more year but roll out another clunker like that last two and that well will start to dry up.

That's pretty good I don't follow your recruiting I was just making an assumption based on the fact that y'all are not playing your traditional schedule is all

they were due, we had our shite back up qb in and a team full of injuries with no depth thanks to bill stewart.
The FL pipeline is big b/c of wvu alumni who coach down there and its been established since the 80's. You really have no idea what you are talking about.

Yea, that's it, inferiority complex.
looking in the rear view mirror once in a while helps keep things in perspective.
Also its pretty sad you all stick to the "TV market" line of argument. You all cant even go .500 in the Big 12 yet you would be a better competitive program in the SEC?
Sure man, sure.

Now they're in a conference where running the table gives you a meaningful reward, so they're pulling in better players.
huh? they are? Per 247, TCU's 2014 class has 1 four star player committed as of now. And their class is rated 64th overall behind such luminaries as Temple, UH, and Western Michigan. The 2013 class (their first full class as part of the Big 12) finished ranked 35th and had all of 1 four star recruit.
As a point of reference TCU had 3 4*s in the '11 class and 4 in '12. Their recruiting isn't improving. If anything their recruiting has suffered the last few years (though honestly I'd just say they are in the exact same spot they've always been). TCU is TCU.

No skin off my nose either way.
Some of your brethren (not on this board) were intimating that y'all would wreck shop right off the bat in the big12, though.
Still don't think that conference is a good idea for y'all long term, but hey, it ain't my alma mater, so my opinion means squat

b/c it was true
our recruiting has gotten alot better in the big12 and it would be way better in the sec. Growing pains are going to happen esp for a school in a state with less than 2 million people.

Was Florida's football "success" a product of the crappy SEC?
Teams have ups and downs. Not every team is like Alabama where 10 win seasons are the bare minimum every year.
West Virginia was gutted by graduation last year, although they under achieved in 2012. Too much talent to only go 7-5.
TCU has had to deal with some personel losses, and haven't had the younger players step up.
I think TCU's 2010 team was the best team in the country that year, yes better than Auburn. Senior dominated and loaded with NFL talent. They just haven't been able to reload, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
