Not boring but far from the game of the century.
I will never understand why people say this. "Game of the century" wasn't supposed to mean it will be the most entertaining game of this century.

It simply meant #1 and #2 who are head-and-shoulders above all other teams in college football were playing each other in the regular season which (should) have impacted their national championship hopes.

It was a clash of titans. And sometimes, when you have a clash of titans, they cancel each other out. In essence, that is what the game was... two incredible teams canceling each other out. It may have been boring in the sense that the actual game wasn't incredibly exciting on it's own, but when you realize the implications of the game and what was on the line, you see that every single play and every single snap was crucial not just to the outcome of that game, but to the entire season, and even previous years of hard work.

It was each team's season. Do or die. They were both in each other's way to the title, and one of them had to fall.

With everything that happened in the game, and LSU winning it on a field goal in overtime after never having led the entire game, I'd say it was a great game.

I watched the game with 2 girls who don't normally watch football, but like to tune in for big games. One fell asleep and the other played on her phone the entire time. I think that just about sums it up for the non LSU/Bama fans.

"The great LSU D still gave up 500 yards to a crappy WVU team. Not saying they aren't a very good unit, but teams can move the ball on them at times"

That crappy WVU team "may" be in a BCS bowl

I was more saying this is one of the worse WVU teams in the past 5 years.

Additionally, they are in the big east and lost to Syracuse by 4 TDs

typically the fans that say this are the pac10 guys who aren't used to seeing two hard nosed intense defenses playing head to head. all show on offense no go on defense
