Who cares? If the Rams didn't draft him, the Packers would have. Leave him alone and let him get a little mud on his helmet.

You've had Heisman winners go in or after the 7th round.

The NFL doesn't care about college awards. They only care about whether you have the ability. And, quite frankly, Sam stunk up the NFL combine and his Pro Day. Most teams wouldn't have invited him as an UFA with his 40 time and athletic measurables.

Charlie Ward and Eric Crouch come to mind.

I don't believe Vontaze Burfict was drafted, and he was a better college defender than Sam. And straight, too.
