I would have Magic, Robertson, Stockton, West and Thomas, as the Top 5 point guards.

Now which point guard would be next Iverson, Payton, Curry,or Paul?

There are some bad posts in this thread. Lmao at anyone who thinks Isiah Thomas was better than Chris Paul.

As someone who has seen both play Isiah was a better player. Better at being a general on the court, better killer instinct, better D, tougher.

Paul is good but not top 5.

Thank you peej.

People on both msb and poliboard do same obnoxious thing, as if all the world is tied into their reality chamber and we can read his mind and no one could disagree on any grounds.

(Edited to correct weird added words my phone came up with. Must have swiped.)

Jerry West is like Harden. He’s generally considered a 2 guard.

And Curry is the second best PG ever.

3 of those 4 things are completely “eyeball test”/opinion oriented

Peak Nash is not as good as career average Chris Paul, can we strive for a little bit of objectivity here?

Paul's best years shite all over Nash's 2 MVP seasons.

Thomas’ best win share per 48 in his career was .173

Paul did better than that his rookie year

Paul’s career win share per 48 average: .247
Thomas’ career win share per 48 average: .109

VORP and BPM are even more lopsided.

This isn’t close.

Same with Nash in terms of WS/48 and BMP. Paul's career averages are much better than Nash's career best years.

It's...not...close.

Lol Stockton and Magic Johnson are the two greatest point guards in NBA history. You can debate the order, but that’s a lock.

On no planet is John Stockton better than Steph Curry.
