Good luck with that

Bird, Magic and Jordan all had retired by this point in their careers

Bird and Jordan didn't have anyone carrying them. Magic had that HIV thing.

You think a guy that went for 18/5/4 last season getting a minimum deal is bad value?

Yikes

Cleveland will also be able to manage his minutes really well, I'd think. As long as he doesn't get injured, I think they'll have him pretty fresh for the playoffs.

None of them ever had a 16 million dollar buyout and a chance to start on a conference finals team to be a high profile roll player

They also have Rose who will start until Thomas comes back. Rose and Wade aid in offsetting the loss of Irving's offensive production and add quality depth at bargain values. If Thomas comes back in reasonably good health(improbable, but possible), then the Cavs have substantially upgraded their roster.

They were very top-heavy last season and desperately needed playmakers to give Lebron some rest as he averaged over 37 MPG, which led the league. Even still, they were already better than the prior team that won the title. The Warriors just had Kevin fricking Durant this time. They still do, which likely makes all of this a moot point in the end, unfortunately.

When did Wade become a PG?

A starting PG.

Are you retarded?

Bird, broken arse back.

Magic, broke down from AIDS.

Jordan, not as good as people think.

All a distraction.

Lebron and Wade just want to play one more season together. Wade on his way out the league, Lebron on his way out Cleveland when his deal allows, and they've pretty much become best friends by the looks of social media and other reports. Why not play one more year together and still make the playoffs while doing so.

Unless they get one more key player, Golden State still takes the ship.

ETA: ...still make the playoffs Lebron carries them to*

This is the same guy that thinks the NFL "won't survive" this National Anthem nonsense.

What do you think?

touché. Hopefully Harden and CP3 prove me wrong, but that's for a different thread.

What gives you that idea that this is his last season? Certainly not his level of play.
