Volunteering for a multi-billion dollar entertainment company? They already don't pay their halftime acts, now they need volunteers?

Some of my buddies did this while we were in college in Nola in 2013. Key is getting inside the stadium. Most of my friends were stuck outside selling merchandise but a few did manage to get inside.

No volunteers will be inside the stadium for the game.

What the volunteers will not do, it should be pointed out, is work inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday. “That is one of the things we want to make sure people are aware of – this is not a game-day stadium role,” Daniels said. “This is for all the events and activities leading up to the game.” And no, volunteers won’t get access to Super Bowl tickets.

I saw these douchebags all around the airport when I landed in Atlanta Sunday. Some were trying to take your photo while you hold a Super Bowl frame and others were "welcome to ATL for the Super Bowl." Lame as hell since they had "volunteer" on their jackets.

I don't understand why anyone would want to work for free outside the stadium.

What’s more American than football? And what’s more football than the NFL?

These volunteers are volunteers for America, and we should commend their service. Also we should thank Commissioner Goodell, and of course President Trump, that we even have these great opportunities.

Couple years ago, about 9 months before the super bowl in Houston, the company I worked for was looking for volunteers to work the week of the Super Bowl. There was a long list of shite, dos and donts, my boss thought for sure i’d be interested bc I’m a football fan. frick that noise. A multi billion dollar industry can pay me for my time. Only suckers work for free while people collect millions of dollars

So you're there for a conference, apparently have extra free time, and you're spending your free time standing at the airport saying "Welcome to Atlanta"?
