What would be interesting is if SF trades Purdy and signs Darnold.

Why do people keep acting like Purdy is this mediocre QB that gets carried by his team every week? He's a damn good QB. I would even say he's a top 10 QB. Jalen Hurts gets carried by his supporting cast more than Purdy does and nobody ever says anything about that.

Makes you wonder if cousins has been the problem all along for the Vikings woes. Keenum takes them to the NFC title game. Cousins years are a slump. First year hes hone, Vikings have the 2nd best record again.
I’ve been complaining about cousins for years saying he’s the problem and most of you said he wasn’t and that his numbers are good

McCarthy sucks though. Weren’t their reports that he looked bad in camp?

He looked good in the one preseason game he played before getting hurt. Either way they aren’t going to throw in the towel after 2 weeks of training camp to evaluate him as a QB

Hey, if going out drinking all night before games was good enough for Kenny Stabler and Bobby Layne.....

I really liked Darnold coming out of USC. Thought he had everything you needed to be a 15 year franchise QB but he went to an abhorrent situation with the Jets and paid the price for it. Good to see him go to a good organization w/one of the best offensive minds and QB coaches in the league that puts him in a position to succeed. Funny how that works.

I would imagine LV and NYG will both be potential suitors, maybe CLE if they can somehow get out from under Watson.

If I'm Darnold, I do whatever I can to stay with the Vikings or a similar properly run organization.

No way I'm going to Cleveland, NY, Vegas or any of these other dumpster fire situations with revolving doors at head coach and QB.

It’s almost like the majority of QBs aren’t NFL ready at draft and they need years to get better. Your new front office strategy is not to draft a high rd QB, go BPA, and then grab one of the usual many who flamed out after their first contract.
