Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Has degrees from Princeton and Stanford and a pretty serious finance background including as a commodities trading manager at Credit Suisse so data will be a huge focus.

And the Browns are getting paid big time in the deal. He was their VP of football ops for the last 2 years so they get extra 3rd round picks in the next two drafts as compensation for developing a minority GM hire. He is the 6th black GM in the league right now.

The Vikes need a lot of work. Wonder what Kirk thinks.

The league cares. Two thirds is a major haul for a guy who only spent 2 years working for Cleveland.

Vikings fans will find a way to whine about this for the next 20 years.

Mostly analytical on this hire. Woke schemes.

If someone had told me 10 years ago this was going to be a real thing I would have never believed it

And yet the goal is equality. Things like this don't really help achieve that goal as much as they think. When a group can't move forward without others bending over backwards to help them achieve the goal, doesn't that seem to lend validation to the attached "lesser than" stigma?

No, it's not. The goal is equity.

I'm a Vikings fan & you are not wrong
Speaking on the hire, I'm looking forward to who he hires as coach & how he handles the Cousins contract. Maybe unload him on Cleveland??
I saw an interview with him this morning & came away very impressed. I would love to work for the guy. His main credentials are from working for the 49ers from '13-'19. Wonder if the new coach will have ties from there.
