While most are not NCSU fans, I figured some of you might enjoy seeing this moment. This is why we love sports.

It is a bit much for the Sweet 16. But it's pretty cool to see.
Getting to the Sweet 16 nowadays doesn't even seem like all that much of an accomplishment anymore if you're an above average program.

NC State should be embarrassed. A traditional ACC power celebrating like that after making the Sweet 16? What a joke. If they're that happy just to be there, they're for sure going to get their shite pushed in in the next round.

That's cool but it reminds you how long it's been since NC State has done anything in the tournament - been past the Sweet 16 since 1986.

It's not necessarily a great story. I do like them because I picked them to the Elite 8, but that's about it.

I think you are underestimating just how irrelevant they have been for the majority of the last 20 years.
A return to glory of sorts can sometimes be bigger deal than some run by a mid-major.
