38 is old, but a QB like Vick has never come through before. Guy is healthy as an ox and super quick.

His speed and quickness, which is what separates him, will slow down soon. He has never been a good passing QB. Vick had a great start to last season and his numbers took a hit toward the end of it. I think he falls to earth hard this year and the Eagles are a big disappointment.

If Eagles hadn't franchised him, he would have gotten more guaranteed $$ on the free agent market.

People can say dumb move by Philly but it was less than his free agent market worth, and a deal just about any team wout a franchise QB would have made.

Yeah, I think it will more than likely end up being 60-65 mil over 4 years, which yes, is a ton, but not outrageous for a franchise QB.

And Vick does end up making every penny of the 100m, that means his performance will have justified it...

Damn, just for turning his life around he gets $100M. Hell I know it's not because of his talent, he won't play a full season with all that running.

yeah the 30 TDs, 60% comp, 100 passer rating, and 600+ yards rushing, had nothing to do with it.

I forgive any man who served his time for his crimes.

Who am I to judge him for his past? God knows we all have something we are ashamed of.

One of the very few people I honestly wish would DIAF. People who rob gas stations and steal cars deserve to be forgiven after doing their time. People who torture and kill defenseless creatures are not on the same evolutionary rung as other humans and should be removed from the gene pool. Humanely of course, which is better than he did for the dogs....

Yep, no way would I spend that kind of money of MV. They should have at least limited it to something like a 3-4 year deal.
