for the record i been saying manning 4 mvp all season.. but i felt if vick could come back right where he left off and even beat manning then he climbs right back into the discussion..

there's still plenty of season left. i just know that vick has won every single game he has started.. and just about brought them back in that first game that was just horrific from kolb against the packers..

Oh I ain't hating on Vick, but the people with votes will always pick Manning.

Brees was the best QB the past two seasons and still lost to Manning.

yeah but if vick's rushing stats are what i'm seeing.. to go with his passing.. and the fact he hasn't lost.. as well as beat manning..

i think i can make the case and they will listen to me. need a few more losses out of peyton too tho.

This should have literally nothing to do with it.

I agree.

But this year Manning is carrying that Colts team to the playoffs without a defense, a running game, and with all of his favorite targets banged up.

You or me could get reps at WR for Indy this season, and they are 6-3.

manning isn't better this year...vick has the highest qb rating in the nfl, with 11 TD and 0 INT's while manning has 16-4 in twice as many games...not to even mention that vick has mobility...vick all day long

With less than half the attempts of Manning.

Less attempts usually translates to a higher QB rating.

And all that mobility hasn't kept Vick from getting sacked more than Manning has either. (With WAY less attempts)

sacks don't mean anything...that's mostly the 0-lines fault which is hurting for the eagles right now...guaranteed if both keep playing the way they are, vick get's it...

that just goes to show the eagles o-line is atrocious.. manning has one of the best o-lines in the league..
i think that's most important.

i still think vick's rushing stats and all around td's is being overlooked. and the whole fact that he has zero losses as the starter. manning has 3.

vick missed 3 games and still has 11 tds passing and ZERO frickING INTS
manning has 16 tds and 4 picks, as well as 1 fumble lost.

NUFF SAID.

The Colts' OL really isn't that good this year, which is part of why they're having problems. Ryan Diem has been sucking it up, and they've never been able to run block worth a shite

Dude, Manning has more than DOUBLE Vick's passing attempts.

If Vick throws the ball almost 400 times and still hasn't thrown any picks, then I'll be on board.

16 TDs to 4 picks is insanely good considering Manning's attempts/completions.

Vick has played very well, and it's an interesting story, but don't be the one to over-react to one awesome game.

Manning:

9 games

248 completions out of 386 passes = 64.2%
2,663 passing yards
6.9 avg
16 td's passing
93.9 Rating
4 interceptions
-6 rushing yards
3 fumbles, 1 fumble lost

so he has 5 turnovers with 16 total tds

Vick:

6 games

96 completions out of 153 attempts = 62.7%
1,350 passing yards
8.8 avg
11 td's passing
115.1 Rating
ZERO ints
ZERO fumbles lost

+

341 rushing yards
7.8 avg
4 tds

vick has 0 turnovers with 15 total tds (in only 5 games started i believe)

vick has ZERO TURNOVERS.. he isn't costing his team anything. all he does is win for his team.. his team is 1-2 without him..

going into the season the eagles were considered to be in rebuilding mode.. their own fans didn't even consider this to be a good season for them...

the colts are the defending afc champs.. number 1 afc seed from last year.. they play in a damn dome. ( i know i hate to be that guy ) but dome teams do typically favor passing stats. and vick goes out and accounts for 6 total td's on the road in the pouring rain.

i recognize manning's insanely awesome season.. but vick is playing beyond lights out. it's even more filthy what he is doing both passing and rushing. his passing is incredible.

so let get this straight..

the guy who is leading the entire nfl in qb rating.. is the only starting quarterback to have zero turnovers, and has accounted for 1 less total td than manning.. in 3 games less.. isn't worthy of MVP?

how can you hold the fact that vick has a so called better defense against him? i'm sorry manning has to attempt all those passes.. but that doesn't mean he deserves MVP over a guy who is playing at another level with a different style of play.

if anything peyton's season this year reminds me of the seasons drew brees lost out to him.. yet still won Offensive Player of the Year..
