The dude who broke this story, Clinton Yates I think, just went on Finebaum and gave an interview. No Vandy parents told him that there were racial slurs uttered to them, it was some random person who told him about it. He determined that it had to be true because he went to their section earlier and State fans were talking shite and had created a "hostile environment".

Yates goes back to his seat and does not return during the game.

4. After the game, so-and-so said to Yates, did you hear what happened? Yates asked what. The guy apparently told Yates that a bunch of MS State fans called the Vandy parents the N-word. Yates said, you mean the fans in [Section __]? "Yes, those fans."

Finebaum then asked Yates if any fans were kicked out of the stadium. Yates said no, but some were "moved around." Yates said that "this isn't the time for me to give you specifics as to what happened. But it happened. There is no reason to believe that it didn't happen based on the environment that I saw."

Imagine in the year 2021, you’re in a packed room and someone yells the N word at a black person…you fcking think everyone just turns a blind eye to that…no one takes a picture…nothing escalates…everyone just sits there and nothing happens?!

No one reports it after the game, no one tweets about it, no one fcking mentions it at all accept ONE guy to ONE reporter as an after thought?!

Come on dude…seriously, picture yourself in a crowded room with someone yelling the N word at a black guy…what happens? It’s not absolutely nothing I’ll tell you that. Even die hard MState fans wouldn’t tolerate that.
