@Ian_OConnor: Howard comes in hugs Stan and doesn't realize Stan just confirmed story

Frank Isola ? @FisolaNYDN
Dwight now denying he asked for Stan to be fired. Asked reporters to give up their source. Hey genius, the source is Stan

Dwight is really trying to hang onto that nice-guy image.

I had a feeling that he would screw the magic by saying he intended on staying there long term and them not trading him before the deadline.... My gut says he will make things so miserable there that he won't be back.

Its pretty much a given that Van Gundy is on the outs. Maybe Otis Smith too. More like probably.

As a Magic fan, I can say that Van Gundy is greatly appreciated. But, its time for something new. Hes taken Orlando about as far as he can.

if he does this, I am going to crack up.... not that I dislike Orlando, but it would just be such a classic dick move. Would marvel and the tenacity it would take to do this .

The Magic really fricked up by trusting him instead of trading him.

Firing Stan seems pointless to me - he's a great coach and unless Howard can lure Phil Jackson to Orlando they won't do any better

Exactly..... There was just too much smoke out there about how he wanted to be traded and then pretty much out of no where he decides to stay......

I agree... the problem isn't the coach its the lack of role players.

what happened to jameer nelson? He used to be the real deal and it seems like I never hear his name anymore
