USC really isn't impressing me this year. They would likely get smoked by any of the ranked SEC teams to say the least.

 Mississippi State would smoke them? LSU has been impressing you I take it?

They got beat by a mediocre Stanford team who barely beat San Jose St and lost to an awful Washington team that LSU destroyed. Then they had trouble with a Utah team that has absolutely no offense.

Yea, Miss St would probably beat them by double digits.

exactly. I'll take LSU and Bama over SC but it's freaking hilarious to say they would get smoked by the other teams. I'm still trying to figure out what UGA and South Carolina have done lately to be hailed as these great programs all of a sudden.

Oh dear. By your logic, LSU is in some deep trouble for the rest of this year because of the way they've struggled against a lousy Auburn and Towson team.

IMO they are. I can see them losing at least 4 games if their offense continues to be putrid.

Guess you can replace them with LSU too huh?

Well, that doesn't make a lot of sense because you just said all the ranked SEC teams would crush USC. LSU is ranked, aren't they? So LSU isn't impressing you, and you think they could possibly lose 4 or more games, yet you would expect(not hope) that they would crush USC?

Once the other programs dropped off last year and Arkansas this year...somebody had to fill that void of awesomeness...the SEC can't be about 2 teams, the fans and media won't have it...somebody is going to get promoted by default.

USC has it's own issues to worry about getting through the Pac this year with suddenly all these teams that can score pretty damn well. Every game here on out will be grind except for Colorado. @ UW, @ Zona, Oregon, ASU, @UCLA, Notre Dame.
