It has been announced, but nothing official has come out.

He literally took a leave of absence this past Monday and passed away today.

He was a former GA under Mike Leach at Tx Tech, and spent time on Leach’s staff at WSU and Miss St. Also coached with Riley at Tx Tech and at East Carolina.

He and Lincoln Riley knew each other a long time, and both got their start as student assistants in Lubbock.

Agreed. All the shite we've advanced in human life and we still can't make headroads on this terrible disease.

We’ve made plenty of headroad, the problem is that people who get cancer that young often have underlying genetic mutations that predispose them to very aggressive forms of cancer. Young people are also much more e likely to blow off the early symptoms.

It’s just a recipe for disaster. Terrible news.

Shocking news. Had an opportunity to meet him once and know others that knew him well. Just a great guy from all accounts.

Sounds like it came out of nowhere. Very sad and prayers to his family and friends
