Casey should have started after the last game but he really sucked arse tonight.
casey did two things right in the game against cotrachos
jozy showed tonight why he should NEVER be a sub and should start every game
sorry im just saying this shite, but i had to watch on delay
jon bornstein, wow, what a game kid, hats off
jozy, just a total stud
casey showed again tonight why he shouldnt be playing for this team. as good as it was to net those two goals, anyone else could have scored them
negs
bradley, outside of the goal, i thought he was average at best. he has to quit disappearing at times
why the frick didnt spector play tonight?
boca has lost a step
super neg
if gooch really fricked up his knee, like knee ligament, we might not even need to make the trip
my fricking heart sank when i saw him go down and motioning the ttrainers out immediately. this is pretty much the worst thing that could have ever happened to us
also, without davies, we are in deep shite too unless we can find a speed guy
imo, there has never been a more important time to put dempsey up top with jozy

I've been screaming for months for Bob to start Jose.

I'm not too worried about the Onyewu injury, unless he is out for 6+ months, it's not like he would be playing for AC Milan anyways.

how can you not be worried about that an
knee ligament injuries are a year long thing

Torres is a stud.
Jozy was phenomenal tonight. Can't wait for him to go beastmode next year.

Bob should let me make the mothafrickin lineup.
Posted on 10/14/09 at 9:56 pm to Ron Mexico
If he is out for less than 6 months, then the injury is pretty negligible. He can either pick up splinters in Italy or rehab here. I don't think he will even play against Serie C1/C2 teams in Coppa Italia. The transfer was a complete disaster.

I think a nice Bolton or Portsmouth would be good for Gooch. Not AC Milan despite their uber suckage this year.

well obviously keys, thats not what im saying though
if the wrost happens, hes done for SA with a ligament tear. it did not look good at all, he wasnt touched and just buckled, thats just SCREAMS acl

ron, apparently the end of the world has hit the OT
Posted on 10/14/09 at 10:04 pm to Ron Mexico
I was just saying anything under 6 months. If it's ACL or MCL, it would be longer. Sal Zizzo did that in training, so he is totally out of the picture now.
With Onyewu, it could have been a hyperextension or dislocated kneecap. Those would only be 2-3 months probably.

Shitty start, but what a great fight back for that draw from the USA. Bornstein (and to give a bRuin props takes some doing from me) played like a man on fire. Easily MOTM.
Jozy looked great except for not finishing chances, and that was the recurrent theme. Even though the Ticos are a decent outfit and will score a goal or two, we should have put at least 2 more in the back of the net.
Hope Gooch gets well soon, and same of course for Charlie Davies. Hopefully he will see some of that love the U.S. fans/MNT are sending his way.
CONCACAF CHAMPIONS: United States of America
Those WC fokkers better seed us accordingly.

Ron, it's a torn patella. Out 3-4 months.

The scene at the end was amazing. Goosebumps watching it again

easily, and good for him, ive been his biggest doubter. i actually renamed the art of stabbing the bornstein
ok, good to hear that its just patella. he just has to be 100% for us to have a chance in the summer

Well, hopefully he will play like that in Sewth Effrika, because he has punched his ticket.

patella tears are usually career-ending in basketball or football

unk's thread?

I can't think of too many patella tears off the top of my head, but that seems wrong.
Cadillac is still in league after two of them, right?
Here's the article
