Feilhaber looked lost tonight. It's obvious that he isn't comfortable coming back THAT deep into the defense.

I was afraid Jozy was going to go nuts out there. You could see him trying WAY too hard.

You could tell he wanted to score for his best friend. Monitoring their tweets, him, Mo Edu and Stu Holden were the most affected by Charlie's accident.

The entire media is reporting 3-4 months for the injury.

He may be back playing in that time and rehabbing, but won't be 100% until a year if ever.

I hope DeMerit's freak eye injury heals. He was a rock during the Confederations Cup.

that goal was epic. jozy was playing so hard, I was thinking the whole time he might get that second yellow. glad his emotions didn't get him into a bad situation.

that first counter that jozy had was also pretty amazing, too bad casey couldn't finish.

Jozy proved his passing acumen tonight. Some of his passes, often unfortunately to the big white ogre, were incredible.

I hope Phil Brown was watching this game.

Also, I'm really looking forward to our Clarence Goodson / Jimmy Conrad central back tandem in the World Cup next year.

CR's back line was often dismal. I'll give Jozy credit for making some swift and efficient cuts to get free in 1v1 or double team situations, but for most EPL wingbacks, they'd have no problem tidying up his zig-zag charges.

Bocanegra and DeMerit should be fine. If not, maybe Omar Gonazles can start getting work in with the national team. I think he's better than Gooch anyway

Has anyone asked what Davies was doing out at 3 Am so close to an important match?

We had already qualified but he was still out past curfew.
