If that's true, it sounds like a cross roads for Belle Terre. Either they'll spend the money to do it right, and people will start to come back, or they'll half arse it, frick it up, and be further in the hole.

Agreed Med, I love the layout but it has been let go too long. I saw they have a membership meeting tomorrow afternoon to discuss the closing of the course to do the greens. It will cause some members some heartburn but if they do it right it's well worth it. I teed off at 9:45 as a single (course was basically empty) and was done for noon. When I finished up they had about 4 4-somes of retirees getting ready to tee off.
The fried catfish with crawfish sauce lunch was awesome; highlite of the day for me. I did shoot 43-40 with only 1 blowup hole, #8 I hit bunker and was up against the face and failed to get out on the first two tries.
BTW, all the putting count talk on here made me keep track of putts today-33 total.
