Okay, lets play a little game. Outside of narrowing fairways/growing rough/rolling greens, you can make 5 changes to Santa Maria to bring it to US Open strength. What are they?
Mine:
1. Convert to Par 70 (#3 and #18 to Par 4's)
2. Move the tees back on #12 40 yards.
3. Move the tees back and to the right on #8 50 yards
4. Bring the lake on #6 out and to the bunker/fairway.
5. Bring the lake out on #17 in front of the green and bulkhead it.

OB immediately right of cart path on #1
Replace the moguls down the left side of #4 fairway with a water hazard. That would be a brutal hole for peeps that can't cut the ball.

Yeah just seems everytime I play that hole, I'm on or aronud those moguls.
