He drains it for a smooth 80! Rickie was almost as bad, Time to switch the Frogs on now

Brooks' best comments today:
the best thing about the train in College Station is you can get on it and leave town....
Bubba hasn't had a lesson, so he says...
You just striped the ball and get a bogey. Nice job.
I swear he was ready to slap Foley at times in this round.

quote:I enjoyed listening to them. I think Brando is awkward and they step on each other a lot. But Brooks brings an honest and knowledgeable perspective that is refreshing. If he get some polish he could be epic.
I've been with Brooks and Brando for both rounds today. Not a bad duo.

I didn't like them for some reason. Tons of awesome lines, the College Station line had me rolling. But like you said they stepped on each other toes so much. Kinda like my golf coverage to be smooth, and they were far from it.
Had fun though, and I'll give em a shot tomorrow.

Brooks sounds like a guy at the pro shop describing golf to a hacker.
His approach to broadcast is, he's drinking scotch, smoking a Cuban, and figuring out how to smash Natalie tonight. All while describing a round.
