I actually don't mind Poulter. I just knew he'd have something to say. He has blasted the USGA in the past and the people at the Open if they give an unfavorable pin position or don't set up the course in a way he deems fair (to be fair sometimes they deserve it).

he's not afraid to speak his mind, that's for sure ... but he usually plays fairly well in the Open, so i wouldn't be surprised to see him play well here ...

Checking out those groups I notice they are playing in threes. Is that what they always do in pro tournaments? Just wondering b/c when normal folks go out we play in foursomes.

Always threesomes on the weekdays, and twosomes on the weekends in majors. Sometimes you'll get threesomes in regular tour events.

If there's an odd number for the weekend, the first person out will play by themselves or with a marker depending on the tournament.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if it is done that way for speed of play, or for easier TV viewing, tradition, or for some other reason?

Haha. Absolutely. He is a really freaking good golfer though. It's always a good sign when Rory asks you to play Augusta with him so he can learn from you.

I would love to see him hit a hozzle rocket on 18 Friday that causes him to miss the cut.

This year an American needs to win not just for themselves, but for a nation.
'Merca

Out of all of those who are American that are playing this week there are two, in particular, who I want to see keep the championship home. Kevin Kisner or Patrick Reed

Kisner's 15 minutes are up, he was playing well a few months ago, but he's pretty much going to be what he is... A cut maker who doesn't do s whole lot

Reed-you sir are a Knob!

Because there needs to be more room on the MSB for all those LeGOAT threads.
