0Pretty good game. Arcadia led most of the second half. Lafayette Christian took the lead late and Arcadia drained either 8 or 9 in a row to end the game.
LCA never seemed to settle down and looked rattled towards the end. Lots of bad shots. Arcadia slowed the game down and LCA didn't react well.
Great game. Arcadia vs Lab in the finals.

Serves the coach right. When they were up 50+ on severely over-matched teams maybe he should have had them working on their half court offense as opposed to having them showing off with alley-oops and pressing the entire game.

used to be a good guy. coached some class C school and was well-liked in the coaching community. went to LCA and started doing shady shite and got all these studs, AND he became a douche. no other coaches like him now.

That coach and program is the epitome of new money. Classless all year long. Can't say I feel bad for them at all. Hopefully they'll learn how to handle themselves better over time. But I am curious to see how much more assertive Greg Williams is now that the twins are gone.

Basically has a hand picked team. Controversy about a player they picked up midway through the season this year, arbitration used to make the player eligible was very shady (rumors about a lot of money paid to make him eligible).

As far as opposing coaches the general dislike comes from the fact that he runs it up on severely over-matched teams. (pressing up 50+, team showing off).
As for as the school itself, LCA has developed a very negative reputation for the way things are run and quite a few negative experiences from schools that have had to play at LCA (not just in basketball).
I've personally witnessed their announcer taunt another team late in the fourth quarter of a game. They were up 49-0 and scored (starters still in). Announcer literally said (while laughing) "Another easy Knight TD, With this defense I think we'll get another 200 yards, just too easy."
Have heard other stories from other schools from just about every sport they field. LCA can definitely stand to be humble.
