Kimbo jumped onto the underground scene when he destroyed poor Birds (I think it was this one) eye in that backyard brawl.. That shite was gross as frick, to this day I wonder if that guy was able to regain sight from that eye..
I always liked Kimbo because as sad as it seems, he fought under the code in those fights even when he grew more famous and was fighting a bunch of fat pieces of lard for a few hundred bucks.. He played by the street rules and was honorable in that respect.. He was never going to make it against true fighters but it was so tempting to wish and hope he'd be able to crossover.

I actually liked him and pulled for him on TUF. He was an under dog but he went for it.
