And Anisimov and Vinny "perma-orange-tan" Prospal.

Vinny actually was an earlier free agent signing. The basic premise of the trade was Nash for Dubi, Anisimov, Erixon (who looked really good last night for us. He's spent most of his time in our organization in the AHL but he looks ready to break out this season) and a first round pick used to draft Kerby Rychel, who should be a very nice player for us in a few years. It was definitely a great trade for CBJ, especially based on the culture of the organization at the time. It was "Rick Nash and the Blue Jackets" instead of "the Blue Jackets featuring Rick Nash, Cam Atkinson, Jack Johnson...". It was important that changed. That's also partially why I think CBJ were adamant that Johansen's deal be kept low, so the mindset didn't become "Ryan Johansen and the Blue Jackets".

But less than a year later we returned the favor on the Nash trade a little by trading Moore and Brassard among other pieces for Gaborik

Ahh that's right.

Erixon
to be honest, I am surprised he didn't make the roster last season. Thought we was looking good as a Rangers prospect. Glad he is doing well.

I hated to see Gaby go, especially after he lit it up in the playoffs last year, but Brass and Moore are great additions.

The trade steal of all time is getting McD from Montreal

The Hawks had me worried last night, but once it got to a shootout I knew it was over. Tough to beat Kane and Toews in a shootout

Which is why you don't often see the statue of liberty play or the hook'n'ladder in pro football: that shite doesn't work at the pro level

Jackets dominated the Rangers tonight. They looked great, the Foligno-Johanson-Atkinson line is doing work.

We got Dallas on Tuesday

Yup rangers asses got whooped. Was at the Preds -
Dallas game. Great game - goose with the Gordie Howe hat trick.

With all the love the stars got pre-season the offense isn't there. Have got to get more than 18 shots to win. If it weren't for the arena booing the shite out of Spezza I would have thought he was invisible except one play.

As for the rangers, how in the heck did Kreider get a game misconduct, instigator, and a major? Does he know we brought him in to score goals?
