Lately I just reply, "Yeah that's exactly why" and that usually shuts them up, even if it's not the real reason. It's like their goal in life is to paint everyone racist, but when you pretend to accept it they have no response.

I think there is a tinge of racism among some tennis fans. But, for the most part with Serena, it's not about race. Almost everyone loves Venus. Serena has acted like an idiot at times throughout her career and it's nauseating the way the media is so eager to crown her champ at the beginning of every tournament. And she's the GOAT, so that always brings jealousy.

Never said its the only reason not to like her. But its the reason you look for things to be bothered about. Even things other players do/have done... with Serena its an amplified problem. She's generally well respected on tour, especially as she's gotten older. In fact the only group of Americans she seems to get this from is southern white men, and you cannot tell me her being black has nothing to do with that.

I wish Tiafoe wasn't such a frontrunner so he could actually gain some points in non-major tournaments and could be ranked going into the slams.
