Oh it's gonna happen.

It wasn't, in my estimation, JM's journalistic zenith. I cringed more than twice.

I agree. Novak will likely be a slight favorite.

I just think TGGRN is gonna get him this time. I'm not saying it's in the realm of #freemoney.....just a lean.

overhead

Forgot to mention this last night. I think Rafa may have one of the best overheads in the sport, and that's including doubles players, which is borderline mind-boggling.

Tsitsipas hit a lob and Rafa backed all the way up near the baseline. At this point, you're supposed to let it drop for two reasons. One... it could land out, and two... it's easier to smash after the bounce. But this dude says F it I'm gonna pick this out of the air, while falling backwards, and crush it into the corner with a little slice action to boot.

We have a new current tournament favorite.

It's only for a few hours until Novak reaches the final, but still interesting.

259 L.Pouille wins 1st set & loses match +600
260 Any other result -1200

I’m a sucker for a little +600 action. Novak could def be caught looking ahead since he’s already penciled in to the final.

Gonna be tough to win the first set if he can't win a game

I think Nadal wins this Open

I can’t see either winning in 3 sets

That would definitely be a letdown if someone wins in straights

Maybe so, but I have never seen Rafa play this well on hard courts. You saying Djoke wins in straight sets?

I'm just glad fed fan gets to endure another final with his 2 rivals on center stage instead of him

Fedtards would probably rather have that than get destroyed and hurt his H2H.

The MSB vamos brigade will be out in full force. I'm not watching six hours of that, but hopefully, with their slow pace of play and 28 shot rallies they will be early third set or so at 6 am eastern.

Is this where I complain about homogenized courts and slower play etc?
