"God-mode Stan" is the best tennis player on the planet, and I don't even believe that to be a particularly bold statement. The tricky part is being able to predict with any degree of certainty if/when Stan will be able to flip over into God-mode. I wrote on this board at some point along the line last year that God-mode Stan was officially retired. I was wrong about that. So what the hell do I know?

If one did have a great read on when God-mode Stan would be appearing, one would be a rich man. I mean, if gambling were legal.

Finished watching Rafa/Raonic... It's high time Rafa shaves his head.

Pretty sure he's doing hair implants at this point. What is something that would cause premature hair loss? I'll take PED'S for $1000 Alex.

Nadal beat Canadian Milos Raonic last night. In the semis, he plays Grigor Dimitrov aka "Baby Fed" in the middle of the night two nights from now. Fed and Stan Wawrinka play their semi at like 3:30 am eastern tonight/tomorrow. Women's semis are at 10:00 eastern tonight. Coco (niece of Kiki) Vandeweghe v Venus and old lady Mirjana Lucic against Serena.

I am seeing the lines at about Coco -170,Venus +150. Coco is on fire and is probably favored due to that and age. When Venus is moving well, it's tough to winners on her with that lanky frame covering the court. She needs free points on serve.

I'm gonna say god-mode Coco won't show up again tonight, so a Venus win is possible. Her issue in recent years has been fatigue, but the cool weather and shorter matches in previous rounds will help with that big time.

Yep I have seen Venus fade hard in some matches the last couple years to the point her footwork can be really bad if it's a long and physical match. Her best bet is for Coco to not play well (this could definitely happen) and take her out in straight sets.

I'm pulling for coco. I'm so sick of the Williams sisters. Mostly Serena though

Would like to see Venus take out this white trash, but Coco is probably the best bet to beat Serena. Not sure what to root for here.

That's how you set a tone early

That's how you lose your advantage early

5 all 30 all. The level of play in this match is pretty shitty.

Yeah I guess the chair umpire felt the line judge made a sound resembling an out call. I'm trying hard to keep an open mind towards Vandeweghe but honesty she's just unlikable.

Coco just murdered the ball on that 3-2 point. Venus' double fault was huge there.
