personally, i could care less what the university is called. but lets not forget..LSU isn't the school name neither...call it by its real name

Well since you're such a stickler for naming guidelines, I wouldn't want you to miss one that comes directly from the university.

Well first we are public university, and amongst those we are the:
Largest
Oldest Public (technically Tulane used to be Louisiana but then they went private)
Most recognized
Best academically
best athletically
and we
Have a law school and a medical school
Have more graduate programs
Also
Huey Long
In the state capital.
