My understanding is that Norris put his hands on another coach during the championship game against HCU. He was asked to resign because of his actions.

I'm sure that anybody that can will be looking to move on from that program. 3 coaches in a calendar year? No thanks.

There is probably only 12 normal students in the place since the students body has shrunk so much in the last 20 years

This is true. From 1977-89 they made a regional 10 out of 13 years and in 1984beat my MSU Bulldogs led by Will Clark and Rafael Palmeiro in the South II Regional in Starkville to qualify for the CWS. Only been to the postseason 4 times since 90.

UNO was something like $25k behind on Dean's paycheck. He left to work as a salesman for a roofing company.

They were decent for a little bit after Katrina too. They brought their men’s beer league slow pitch softball team to the LSU regional in 2008 but flamed out.
