Guida is not boring. The guy who can't wrestle makes fights boring. You put him against a guy that can't wrestle and his fights will be boring because he will completely dominate them with his physicality. You put him in against another wrestler and he will be in a FOTN like he was with Roger Huerta, Diego Sanchez and Tyson Griffin. Guida has been in some of the best fights in the UFC. All of them were against other wrestlers though.

no, but there needs to be rule changes so we don't have people laying on top of people for 15 minutes

Guida completely dominated him. What are on earth are you upset about. Don't blame Guida because his opponent can't wrestle. Guida has had some of the more exciting fights in the UFC.

laying on top of someone isn't dominating him....he didn't do any damage to Pettis and was never anywhere close to finishing him

If you do not get the tap or physically injure the opponent with the sub attempt then it means nothing. It does zero damage and it is a complete failure. There are different levels of punches for example. Some do damage, some score a KO, and some don't do show any effect whatsoever. Submission attempts are the same way. Some get the tap, some are very close and do obvious damage to a limb and some are not close to finishing at all.
