This makes me think of 2003 Oklahoma. Considered unbeatable then they lose 35-7 to KSU in Big 12 title game, and then LSU.

ND has no business being in playoff conversation. Weak schedule (no victories over teams in top 25) and sat at home this weekend. My hope is the committee punishes them for that.

I don't know why people keep talking about ND in the playoffs.

They have ZERO chance.

They would need all 4 teams ahead of them to lose (Michigan, Alabama, Cincy, Okie St.) and then hope that head-to-head no longer matters/coupled with the committee punishing Cincy for playing in a conference championship game while they sat at home.

In addition they would need that same punishment for Michigan and Alabama...

...and ALSO hope that 2-loss conference champions Baylor and/or Iowa don't jump them.

Simply put, it just isn't going to happen.
