maybe. But they are. When a loss to a lesser team ruins a season they are more impactful.

So let’s use this example

IIRC the year Bama lost to ULM, Saban’s first year, they were 6-6? Losses to the teams they really wanted to beat would hurt Bama more than losing to ULM

Now if ULM ruined a potential natty season? That would be something

And one loss doesn’t kill a season anymore

sure it does. Lose to ULM and Georgia or Bama and Georgia. Where are you higher ranked?

(Sighs) I really hope this season doesn’t fall apart now in typical ULM fashion

They looked like ULM of old in the second half. But see, it ain’t even upsetting.

Low scoring and close just as I predicted.

The ground game continues to be methodical.

Glad to see Bam get back out there and churn some yardage. Thought it was a really good game plan from Major and Rob Ezell. The tempo worked really well.

No doubt!

Thought that defense stepped up big time today as well.

The Major has got South's season back on track.

I said one loss. That’s losing twice

If an SEC team had one loss and it was to ULM they could still win the conference and be a top 4 seed

The game was really decided at the end of the first half, ULM could have scored a TD and made it a 2 possession game. They get a penalty, then run the ball resulting in the rb getting injured and a 10 second run off, had to settle for a field goal. All the momentum shifted after that.
