It was $285 for two. So, $142.50 for a single. Sounded like there were plenty available and you could basically choose whatever seats you want, BTW.

They have that stupid fricking ProGrass Synthetic Turf System. The only dirt is on the pitchers mound. Its sooooo wrong.

The Cajuns constantly are Top 25-30 in Attendance.

Order an Abita Andygator and the ultimate nachos. This years team should be better with the sticks so hopefully we can put more runs on the board.

Yeah, it was insurance for seats to the LSU game. But, I'm a baseball guy and they can serve as client seats for my dad's business. So, it was a win-win.

I've been to most Louisiana baseball venues, with the exception of Tech, and I stand by my statement. Alex Box is a marvel, but the atmosphere is meh - and I don't like increasing my chances of being murdered or getting AIDS.

thats just false. maybe on midweek games against in state schools sure, but sec weekends and postseason...meh just doesnt describe it at all.

The atmosphere at the old Alex Box was awesome but I just don't think they have been able to recapture it. It's obviously a beautiful stadium but maybe it's just too big to have that same feeling.

You'll disagree but it's just my opinion, breh

i do disagree and i highly doubt you were at game 1 against stony brook. i wasnt there either, but everyone that went says it was old box personified.

eta: i was at the box for the regionals and it was just like the old box. game 3 was somewhat lifeless because we were getting dominated.

Game 3 must have been the new Box personified. Best fans in the country!

i assume you are talking about the victory lap. i wasnt around for that. already in the parking lot. people make too big of a deal out of that. its somewhat lame but it was a long time ago and yall are still talking about it.

That's kind of my point though. It takes a big time game to get a good atmosphere at the park. At the old one, it always seemed like a big game regardless of who they were playing. I'm not saying that there is never a good atmosphere at the new Box but it is less common.
