LSU used one of their weekend guys, Cody Glenn.

That game was before Glenn got into the weekend rotation, and I believe only his second appearance of the year.

Now with that said, I'm going to enjoy watching UL-L throw their ace against LSU (like they do every year) and LSU embarrass the shite out of them like they did last year. It was great watching those paper Ragin Cajun fans cry at the Tigue last season. It was epic.

It was hard trying to watch the Lafayette massacre of 2013

Yeah. Anyone that thinks any team is using weekend guys mid week any more hasn't paid attention in a long time.

The only teams I could see still doing it would be someone like Alabama St in the SWAC or Bethune Cookman in the MEAC that are so head and shoulders better than everyone else in their conference that they feel like they can win weekends with their 2-4 guys.

Weekday games don't matter, unless we win them - LSU fans.

SWAC teams still do it and if I'm not mistaken, I think Southeastern did it last year or the year before against us.

I have no idea what kind of class North Texas brought in but I think it's safe to say that the odds are against them making a trip to Omaha.

That's probably a safe bet, because they don't have a baseball team.

Meh SEC series are way more important. A victory against LSU means a lot more to ULL fans than a loss by LSU. LSU plays for real championships ULL plays for moral victories.

About as good a class as Colorado. Or Wisconsin.

What else do you hang you hat on? A CWS appearance 12 years ago? How did your attendance compare to other teams vs when you hosted LSU?

LSU is just scared to play Tech. ULL and LSU want no part of Wade's boys.

LSU and ULL probably are scared of the RPI anchor effect that would happen even after beating LaTech.

Does that guy in the gorilla suit still show up to tech games? I remember him getting his arse beat when he started something with McNeese fans several years ago.

13.5 years ago but who's counting

Ole coach Robes been riding the coat tails of that appearance for a loooong time now. He hasn't done much since. Maybe LSU can make him a asst pitching coach or ball boy once ULL realizes they won't get back to the CWS while he is still the coach.
