Pretty sure he takes about all of July off most years and is probably only contractually obligated to call a certain number of fights per year.
Can't fault a guy for taking off. Dana knows he's getting a deal with Rogan. No matter what he pays him isn't enough for the amount of eyeballs and publicity he brings to the sport.

Not buying that he dosent care about the sport anymore. I’d argue that the only reason he’s still doing it is because he loves the fight game so much. He’s said it multiple times on his pod, it’s not like he needs the money he still does it because he loves it. He's probably earned the right to pick and choose here and there

As crazy busy as Joe is, I’m surprised that he calls as many events and is able to keep up with the sport as much as he does. He earned FU money a long time ago.

It’s cool to watch every once in a while. I would like to go to an event. I offered to sponsor tzimme trip if he could get us media credentials to opening Vegas but looks like that’s out the picture
