It wouldn’t be dumb the ufc does this quite a bit and it’s international fight week. This is fake news but it isn’t out of the ordinary to have 2 or 3 championship fights for international fight week.

Not to mention, I think the UFC numbers have been flagging a bit lately. They could use a supercard like in the OP to inject some excitement and positive press into the promotion currently.

Volk isn't really known for his KO power, Topuria is.
I want to see Islam vs. Topuria next. If they don't make this fight now, then if Islam wins his next title defense, he'll move up to welterweight saying he wants to be double champ and we'll never get to see it.

I don’t judge a future fight based upon how each fighter did against the same opponents. Styles.
Volk when he fought Islam was at the top of his game. Islam took that away from him.

Fair enough, but Islam himself is saying he doesn't want to fight another 'little guy' as a reason not to fight Topuria. As if he didn't get taken to the limit by a little guy.
All I'm saying is--let's see it. If they don't make this fight now, it might never happen. It's like Conor vs. Khabib lite.

alright changed this up to UFC mexico city.
pretty decent scraps for a fight night.
def interested to see gastellum vs pyfer. ive been hearing alot of chatter where people think pyfer can finish gastellum.
moreno vs erceg will be interesting to see how erceg bounces back from his KO to KKF after putting on agreat performance against pantoja. also can moreno finally get the no wins in mexico monkey off of his back.
