No matter how many times it's said, it is still so fricking mind blowing that that guy fought at 170

Ref actually let that go too long. Trying to give that home town boy a chance to come back.

I agree. Ref gave Gus every opportunity to defend himself

I haven't watched much of Gustafsson, but he didn't keep his hands up at all and attempted to avoid punches with nothing but head movement. It was clear from the start that he was going to get knocked out.

It did go too long, but I dont think it was home cooking, just a knee-jerk to the early stoppages earlier on the card.

What's up with the recent trend of the loser of a fight getting a huge interview and the guy that won gets two words before the mic gets pulled

Is Johnson the guy that beat the piss out of Stafan Bonnar?

You can tell he's a badass. His ears are unblemished.

He might have stopped it a little earlier if the issue with the previous fight didn't happen.

Gustafsson is one of those guys that uses his reach for defense instead of hands. His defense is basically leaning back and getting out of range. AJ is just in another world of explosive athleticism.

They're going to give the guy who's fighting in his hometown a larger time.

It's not just that, it's every Main event now. The loser gets 20 minutes to talk

this isn't boxing with big ole pillows to protect your head. You put your hands up against Rumble and he's gonna punch straight through and crack your arse

Wonder if Gus will add onto his tattoo

That's because he didn't respect Rumble at all. Jones taking up all that space in his head.

I guess you are referring either to hendo who may have been giving his final post fight interview in what could be one of the top 10 careers of all time in mma; or the guy that is responsible for 90
% of the ticket sales?
