And in judo she would submit mayweather.

easily..Rousey is an elite, world class grappler, former champion in Judo. He would have zero chance on the ground

He may beat her on sheer physical ability, but to say he would kill her is just stupid.

You realize he wouldn't be wear boxing gloves? His hands would be that much faster. This isn't even a discussion. A male trained fighter would destroy a female trained fighter. She called him out bc UFC told her to do it for publicity. It'll never happen but everyone wil talk about it.

They should make it happen. No winning scenario for the woman beater however.

It can't and will never happen, unfortunately.

If we're talking no striking, straight grappling? I'd put my house on Rousey.

I will have to read that when I get up I guess. Still not seeing where she says she flat out wants to fight him. 1 am is late for people like me.

That wasn't her initial statement. That was more her explaining how she would fight him if they did fight.

Rousey has also publicly stated she won't fight men because of the physiological differences. I remember her saying she wish he tried to hit her instead of his untrained wife, in response to the domestic assault arrest. Context, ladies and gents.

This is where we have to disagree. As someone who trained in BJJ as a hobby, fighting someone, no matter how more physically capable, that has zero training is like putting a tiger in a cage with dog. If you don't know how to move, you're just going to put yourself into a submission. In a straight fight, it's Mayweather without a doubt. ONLY grappling? Rousey would handle him like a ragdoll.

They're all too "manly" to admit a woman could beat a boxer in an MMA match. It's sad really. First takedown would be within 10 seconds, then into an arm bar for the win. There's a difference between dodging a punch and defending a takedown.

You just made it about gender. I just pointed out she has no real competition because the sport on the woman's side is a crap shoot at this stage in its infancy.

Like I said. You are trying to Womens Lib this shite. Stop the madness girl.

Finally, the voice of reason! And I agree with her in that context. She meant he would beat on her, but not gone unscathed!

Simple takedown defense can be taught in 10 minutes. Hook the arms, spread your legs out and way and put your weight forward. Boom. Mayweather just learned to defend Rousey's biggest weapon.

That's what so most on here don't get. Boxing and jiu jitsu/ judo are different sports and worlds apart.

I guarantee he could defend her takedowns very easily. Too fast and strong. Therefore mma match turns into kickboxing match and he takes care of her very quickly
