Rousey seemed pretty modest during her last win. Has she done something to display a bad attitude lately?
ETA: You gotta give credit to Dana. When he's called out on something, he seems to come through. Undoubtedly he's wanting to put to rest criticisms of Rousey fighting cupcakes and keep the women's game in a legitimate light.

Yea she was. I think getting booed after her last win or two woke her up a little. She needs to drop the BS with Tate. I understand disliking somebody, but after the fight, if they are trying to be cool, you gotta man up. Pardon the expression.

I'm really curious how much money she gets from fighting. Her reported payout from the ufc was $60k to show (with a $60k win bonus) in her last fight. I'm sure she's getting big PPV cuts and sponsorship money, but I have no idea how much. If she can become a big movie and/or wwe star, then why keep fighting?

Her PPV sales aren't that crazy so she isn't getting 4-5 mil a fight like GSP was but I bet she gets AT LEAST 500k, probably more, from the UFC and a few hundred thousand from sponsors. Eventually she will be getting over a mil a fight so she is going to make more from that then she will in the type of movies she does. She probably will never be a regular on WWE, at least not until she has lost a few MMA fights,because that requires you to work/travel like 300 days a year.

I'm guessing for her it works kind of like the music industry currently. She doesn't make a ton off of her bread and butter (fighting), but the fighting has set up her popularity so she can cash in on the movie game. She'll probably need to fight every so often to keep her brand out there and maintain her popularity with the public.

Doesn't matter. UFC fighters get popped all the time. NFL daily and no one cares. People keep bitching about Cyborg testing dirty, but women athletes cheat too. Rousey could be using HGH or other designer stuff they don't test for. It is not a big deal.

I don't get the fascination w/ Rousey's appearance. She's built like a dude and looks like she stinks. I only watch her fights b/c I can't wait for the day she gets KO'd or the day she gets put to sleep.
