Wow. You are quite an emotional mental midget.
None of my take was emotional, it was actually the complete opposite. I can't have an emotional take while explaining why something DID happen. Otherwise it would have been scored 49-46 right?
Y'all already admitted that Ankalaev didn't beat the shite out of Pereira so yes Ankalaev won because "Pereira sucked more" the judges even scored it that way and yet y'all are emotionally arguing against that. Why? I have no idea but I'll stop here because y'all are clearly too dumb to process it.
The Judges ruled 48-47 > a unanimous 49-46 because rounds were "too close to call". Ankalaev didn't do enough, that's him being penalized by the judges and Its really that simple. That is exactly why it wasn't 49-46 and exactly why it shouldn't have been.

The side effect of that is sometimes you get snoozers where one guy lays on top of the other guy for 4 rounds or holds him against the fence.
And for this fight it was a total of what 5 minutes out of 25? This was an awesome fight for anyone that enjoys MMA. It sucked for people who only love blood and people getting the shite beat out of them

I'm legit explaining to y'all why it was scored 48-47 and why y'all are wrong.
You’re crying becuase you didn’t get to watch a fight where someone “beat the shite of” the champion lol

What an accurate statement. Good job. This dude is crying becuase the challenger came in and totally put on a clinic how to stop a great kickboxer and striker.
It didnt go the way HE wanted it to so he’s bitching.

I disagree with this. I think what most people love about MMA is gutsy performances.I myself have been to over 20 events now and have been a fan for 20+ years and know the sport well. we have seen Alex get in a few dogfights. we have also seen ankalaev show urgency and grit before against lesser guys. This fight both guys fought really reserved. neither even changed their gameplan or showed any urgency to try and finish the other guy. thats been a common thing with ankalaev, where he performs well against lower level guys but fights reserved against the top talent. Thats why the fans dont like him. poatan got pieced up way worse against Rountree but he actually tried to fight back. This fight he didnt do shite. This wasnt a entertaining fight, it wasnt a technical masterpeice from either guy, and its not the type of fight that fans pay to see. Ankalaev did just enough to win and poatan did just enough to not get knocked out.

He had a great game plan. He showed how to beat a phenomenal kickboxer and striker. If you’re not impressed with what he did, then that’s on you. Again, it’s fine if you just want to see brawl after brawl and don’t care for the “less-appealing” aspects of MMA, but at least be honest enough to own up to that.

Because he couldn’t lol. I’m so confused why people just can’t admit that he got beat. He isn’t Superman and was eventually going to have someone show how to beat him. He didn’t do shite becuase he faced someone that wouldn’t let him do what he’s great at. Be mad at him for not having a good game plan against his toughest opponent and for not being able to adjust mid fight.

A large majority of mma fans don’t know shite lol

how can it be strategic and tactical if nobody changed their gameplan?

did you come from the boxing world? thats the only time I see people refer to boring shite fights as being technical. But I have seen enough of your takes to know you are full of shite.

how can it be strategic and tactical if nobody changed their gameplan? poatan tried to kick his leg the whole fight while backing up. anakalaev was fine with sniffing his jock for most of the fight up against the cage. there was like 3-4 real significant strikes during the whole fight. doing just enough to win the belt in a fight that had pretty much zero action isnt entertaining/strategic/tactical... its doing just enough to win and thats it.
This perfectly tells me all I need to know about you lol
Low IQ “mma fan”
How jacked do you get about Buffer?

I’ll have to go watch the fight and let you know. I’m not a full encyclopedia of every ufc fight in history.

maybe if you watched more fights instead of typing jibberish on the keyboard you would realize that ank vs poatan was a shite fight.

Tacky calling other fans casuals

imagine calling someone that sat in the arena for ank vs jan and ank vs poatan a casual.

I'm kinda in the middle. It was definitely not a very entertaining fight especially for Poatan. I was hoping he would knock Ank out but I thought beforehand that Ank was going to control the fight and get a decision. I also thought Fiziev was going to TKO Gaethje so I am wrong a lot too.
Having said that, I was having a good time watching that game plan unfold. Ank is a smart fighter that had to go through just about everybody to get his shot (probably because he has had some snoozers in the past) and he planned the best way to win and executed his plan very well. I don't think the rematch will go down the same way.

It was an extremely boring fight. Yet Tacky acts like it'll be a fight of the year contender due to Ank's "strategy."

I've been a huge fan of the UFC since UFC 1 - never been to an event. Long ago it was feasible but I was always gone with the military or something. It's so expensive now. I commend you for getting to so many events, though. I'd like to go one day.
