Talking about heavy weight, I wonder what pereira walks around at normally prior to any cutting
Probably around 230 with no dieting/hydration loss if I would guess.
I think he enters the ring at LHW around 220.

I like how everybody that Pereira sleeps is all of a sudden a “trash can”. Like nah they don’t suck he’s just that good

Agreed, I like his chances against anyone but it’s also funny how he’s looking for a retirement fight while Pereira is at the height of his powers…they’re both 36 years old.

need to see 1 or 2 defenses from Aspinall
He's not even the champion. Having a fricking interim defend that belt is embarrassing for the UFC. Aspinal should be fighting Jones for the belt ASAP. Instead they are going to try to force that shitbox Jones - Stipe fight.
I think Jones would welcome Poatan before Aspinal though.Jones probably thinks he can take down Alex at will.
.
I'd like to see what Alex can do against Ankalaev. That would be very telling how he would do against Jones.

Damn, looking ahead the next 2 fight nights are trash. Going to be a long 4 weeks until 304

He should call out Jones here.
He should not if he wants to keep his streak alive.

I wonder how good this crop of lhw really is. Jones destroyed prime glover yet as an anciano he beat Jan, and damn near beat jiri.

The next one isn’t that bad imo. The main card could be better fights than tonight’s ppv. The 2nd one with the 2 ugly bitches looks horrible though.

2 fights in 4 years? I don't know how you don't chalk that up to dodging. Dude would rather sit on Twitter and argue with people like an unhinged POS

I don’t think it’s dodging. He gave up the lhw belt willingly to move up to HW.
The dude has made plenty of money and as we often see more money = less fights. Not to mention all the other controversies and his recent injury.
I think it’s crazy to say Jon jones is ducking anyone. Dude probably has the best resume in the history of the sport. He is the best to ever do it and stipe is the best hw to ever do it. They have earned to right to a legends fight. If he gets past stipe then aspinall is probably next assuming he gets past blaydes who is a tough fight in his own right. Thats if jones doesn’t retire which is a possibility but I am sure the UFC will throw a boatload of money at him to try and make aspinall if he is still interim or poatan who imo is the bigger moneymaking fight for jones.

Time will tell. If/when he retires after easily beating Stipe and we never see him against Alex or Aspinall we will know.

If it’s a legends fight, make it a legends fight. No need to get the HW title involved and have both of them retired after. And Stipe doesn’t deserve a title shot anyway. Anderson Silva is the middle weight goat, should he be fighting for the belt now? Also, belts need to be unified.
