Wonder if they'll make the DDP vs Izzy fight or give DDP the title shot now
I'd be pretty shocked if dana gave DDP a title shot.
He pretty much just called him out indirectly in the press conference

Izzy didn’t even want to do the post fight presser. Eugene is doing it for him

only gripe is the announcers acting like upsets only happen in mma. Come on lol

UFC really misses Rogan when he's not in a big fight. His fight companion tonight was mountains higher than the UFC broadcast.

I don’t think it was all THAT bad during the fight when they were talking about the fight. But the way they were acting like this was sole unprecemted thing that only happens in mma was annoying. Bit they have to do that. I get it.

nah. not at all true.

Rogan is a casual fan at this point in his life. he's good for what he is and Sanko did just fine tonight herself as well.

not one single person tuned out of the PPV tonight because they missed Rogan screaming "HE'S HURT!!!!" (and then that fighter immediately stands up like nothing happened).

Rogan thinks he knows more than he actually does.

Nobody makes their purchasing decisions on who is calling the fights. People will watch if there was no commentary and only fight sounds.

I give Strickland a good chance here because the dude is tough and ballsy. I don't expect him to leave the octagon with any regrets.

I don't know who this is, but dude is really smart.

Haven't watched the fight yet, but I've always liked Strickland's style. No frills or wasted energy, he just relentlessly walks his opponents down and thumps on them when the opportunity is there. He's a defensive fighter who's always on the offensive, it's a weird style matchup for most opponents.

Yep, it wasn’t close at all. I like Izzy but Strickland just took it to him. I didn’t know much about Strickland but after watching his Podcast with Joe Rogan I knew he was a legit crazy SOB. I don’t know how much is an act, and if that’s really him you can’t ever count someone like that out. I also thought it was a bitch move for Izzy not to do the post fight interview.
