Izzy wasn’t boring because he was 5 secs from being stopped and he knew it. It was fight or flight and to his credit he decided all or nothing and went for it.

Exactly. He knew he couldn't point fight in this one like he did on so many of those past title defenses. He knew he had to be a badass and did it and now he's such a more interesting fighter.
