I think usman dominates masvidal but if masvidal wins it opens the division back up with a lot of options.

A Masvidal victory would be a huge win for the ufc. Usman is solid but his style is an awful draw.

Rooting for Jorge, but I don't see how he beats Marty from Nebraska.
I'm more interested in the Valentina fight. Dana and others are hyping that Brazilian lesbian like she's mini Amanda Nunez. We'll see. I'll watch anytime Valentina fights. Her strikes are incredible to see.

just a friendly reminder that Masvidal has FOURTEEN losses on his record. He is in the main event for one reason and one reason only and that's because he is popular on social media. absolutely nothing more. the UFC really has to stop doing this type of stuff.
everyone already saw him get easily decision-ed (50-43) by Usman last summer (and he hasn't fought since because he kept dodging Covington).

Yeah everyone knows he was a journeyman. He had a great string of fights and deserved the original title shot. I think with usman calling him out again and the fact that he stepped up on 6 days notice the ufc is rewarding him with another shot.

Yeah usman is doing all the right things moving to Whitman to crisp up his striking was a smart move.
