Age and fight miles catch up to everyone. When a man with top tier power comes to town, he's usually the one to start the great decline in a fighter's career.
It's Stipe's time. He's the GOAT, the only one who could take Francis' power and beat him straight up, but now Francis is better and Stipe is a even more worn than he was before.
He gets put to bed here. It comes for them all.
Stipe is the same age as Blachowicz, and spoiler.. he beat Izzy.. and heavyweights have the longest life span of any division.. Mark Hunt didn't peak in the UFC until he was in his 40s.. Ngannou can knock anybody out, but Stipe fought him smart the first time and Francis was fricking gassed out by the second round

I don't understand the obsession with Ngannou and Derrick Lewis. Neither has any semblance of a gas tank and Lewis has a Glass Jaw. The 'hype' around these guys wasn't warranted.

well lewis has more knockouts than anyone at HW ever, and people like knockouts. I wouldnt say that he has a glass jaw, he does fight big powerful dudes at hw and has fought well against top talent.
same for ngannou. their size will always limit their cardio. lewis has shown he carries knockout power for the duration of the fight. we are unsure of ngannou.

How many times have you seen Jan knocked out cold? Now answer the same for Stipe.

Stipe

for +770 or some junk
you're going to lose because of Woodley. If you like money, you'd have chosen Luque

I mean, predicted 6 of 6 at 259 and went 4 of 4 on my Parlay.... so I feel alright about my relationship with money

This main event will be like their original matchup

I also read an article in the nurmagomedov fight that made me feel the opponent was a live dog.

Miocic was betting favorite in the third Cormier fight until late money came in on Cormier.

Man I'm really scared for Stipe. First fight he took some shots that would normally finish other guys. But then he ended up taking on DC a short time later and got knocked out by a simple shot because he was likely still compromised. He took a year in between the DC fights which helped him fully get his head in order. DC landed those same shots but Stipe was able to take them. That 3rd DC fight was a war. I felt he should have taken another year to get his head right. He is approaching 40 and at this point you can't take certain shots especially in a short span like that.

I don’t think stipe is compromised. DC caught him with a great shot he didn’t see coming. Definitely don’t see that being an issue as he ate everything DC had the next two fights and DC was talked about as best HW ever before stipe won the last fight.

I don't think he is compromised at all, but he's about to be.

Wasted about 20 min watching the askren Paul press conference. The Paul dude is a huge douche. I’m about to start a go fund me to pay Ben to just slam this dude on his head and end the fight. There is your viral moment duuude.

From looking at the weigh in pics, Stipe looks dehydrated which shouldn’t be the case since he doesn’t cut to heavyweight. Maybe it was a bad picture

In Nola for the weekend, any good spots uptown to watch the fights?

Where can you watch the fights other than ordering it yourself, BWW, and Twin peaks? In Baton Rouge
