IMO I thought Holloway was in control the entire fight. I mean he lost round 5 by a narrow margin, but I didn't think he lost round 3. Can someone explain the scoring for UFC? Can a fighter receive a 10-8 round without a penalty?

I feel like you say this every card. If the striking is close then a takedown or 2 wins you the round, even if they don’t do shite with it. That’s just the way it is and always has been. Sucks but true. Plus Volk out struck him that round anyway. 3-2 max is probably the best argument but no way it was 4-1 Max
