Good point, you got me there.
My only defense would be if you follow the way the posts were made after it happened, these dudes weren't being discerning between NAC and what not. Some even specifically said Dana should ban Khabib for life.

I hate this happened it really hurts the sport but I think it’ll bounce back
Both of these men were in the wrong without any doubts. Conor played stupid head games with the wrong person and won a stupid prize

Boxing has had worse many times. Mma is fine.
ETA The more I watch it, the less bad it seems. He did not jump into the crowd, only the area where coaches and other celebrity MMA folks generally are. Maybe I’m wrong there but that’s what it looks like. Doesn’t excuse it, but the whole thing was pretty quick. Seems like the Jake Shields thing lasted much longer. Maybe that’s just memory right now I’ll go back and look.

Great pic. I can find more than one video of a boxing coach busting an opposing fighter in the mouth after a fight. They’ve been allowing this WWF shite for a minute. Dana and Conor asked for this, it will only help sell tickets and they know it. I originally thought khabib would be banned, I think cooler heads will prevail.

I haven’t had the chance to rewatch it

Also UFC doesn’t want a guy they can’t market who can be beaten.

Dana blew it out of proportion last night.
It was most certainly dumb, but I knew all charges would be dropped as soon as they announced the 3 guys were arrested. No way conor gets off completely after the bus incident which was way worse, and these dudes get banned for life.
There wont be any significant punishment, khabib will probably get a bonus for boosting ratings.
UFC is turning into a wwe product.

Conor is the most entertaining person in the sport and brings ratings and money. His persona is going nowhere.
His persona is only entertaining to low-IQ plebs, which unfortunately describes the majority of MMA fans.

They have completely de-legitimized the belts. The belts are meaningless now. I tune in for the fights but but I’m only watching for the contest.

Hahaha
So lesson learned, don’t frick with hajiis who live in the mountains.
These wrestlers from Dagestan get recruited by multiple terrorist organizations. Conor fricked with the wrong people

Oh, and who was the idiot announcer that said when Conor was getting pummeled on the ground thought it was a strategy for Conor to wear the guy out.

Wouldn’t be caught dead in one of those but He bothers me. Wish he would stick to the rant. The guy can’t run in a straight line without injuring himself yet he calls the absolute two best mma commentators idiots for suggesting that Conor may be trying to let khabib slow down a little. Conor played that as well as he could. Being calm and strategic while in guard is crucial. It’s not dumb and it wasn’t a dumb comment. If u panic and start thrashing around u are done. Every move counts and every move is done with intent. It’s very technical.

A bus full of UFC fighters and innocent women. You Conor apologists are pathetic.
No, you are pathetic.
What is your argument? That Khabib shouldn't be punished because Conor wasn't for the bus incident? Let me tell you why that's nonsense.
Conor's actions are inexcusable, but they were outside the confines of an actual UFC event or promotion. Conor's actions reflect poorly on him, but they were not involving paying customers and thus do not damage the brand of the UFC. Khabib, on the other hand, did the one thing that you absolutely cannot do as a professional athlete: you cannot create a potentially dangerous situation for paying fans that are there to see the actual show.
White's rationale in not punishing Conor is that the issue is more appropriately dealt with by law enforcement. Frankly, I agree with him. I think it's silly when the NFL punishes guys for alleged domestic violence or DWIs or the like. That's a law enforcement situation; it's not a league issue.
Moreover, the entity that is most likely to punish Khabib the most is the NAC. I hope you understand why this makes perfect sense, as it was at an actual sporting event in Nevada that clearly falls under their purview.
Was the NY athletic commission gonna ban Conor for an event that didn't take place at an athletic event and didn't involve anything related to the actual fighting in a competitive sense (e.g positive drug test for PEDs)? No, of course they weren't. That was matter for law enforcement.
Now, whether Khabib gets charged for criminal assault remains to be seen. He easily could, and probably should. But, either way, his actions are squarely within the jurisdiction of the NAC and the UFC in a way that Conor's were not.
In sum, you are wrong, and badly so, and you should feel bad and post less.
